Athens, Ga,-based artist Art Rosenbaum has been named the signature artist for the 2011 Westobou Festival. The Wheatley Professor in Fine Arts at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, Rosenbaum’s distinctive style combines elements of classical figurative drawing, Expressionism and folk art. He’s also an accomplished collector and performer of American folk music. In 2003 he was awarded the Governor of Georgia’s Award in the Humanities.
