About Westobou

The Westobou Festival was conceived in 2005 by the Trustees of the Academy of Richmond County after receiving a sizeable bequest from the estate of Barry Fleming’s daughter Shirley Fleming. In conjunction with their work on behalf of the Porter Fleming Foundation the Trustees are now building a legacy bringing nationally recognized artists to Augusta in the disciplines of Dance, Music, Visual Art, Spoken Word and Film.
